garden day

Its that time of year again...the sun is coming out, leaves are growing, flowers blooming...it is time to plant a garden!

buying our fruits, veggies, and seeds from Bate's Nursery...

This year we'll have a square foot garden for salad greens. We made a second square foot garden and filled it with carrots, collard greens, broccoli, red onions, strawberries, rosemary, cilantro, basil, cucumber, green zebra tomatoes, and black cherokee tomatoes. Then we planted 7 rows filled with cherry tomatoes, zuchinni, oregano, potatoes, beets, bell peppers, green beans, canteloupe, eggplant, and more! It is going to be a summer full of fruits and veggies.

This is a small harvest from last year.
